What is SI?
SI stands for Supplemental Instruction. It is a program developed by Deanna C. Martin at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Each SI section has a SI Leader who has already taken the course, attends all of the classes, and facilitates group review and discussion. At UTK, SI Leaders lead two SI Sessions and hold 1-2 office hours a week.
How can I become an SI?You can apply on the Student Success Center website.
